2019 Chateau La Rame Rosé

2019 Chateau La Rame Rosé

If you’d like to see the Rosé side of Bordeaux, 2019 Chateau la Rame might be one to try!
Chateau la Rame is a dry strawberry-pink Rosé made from 80% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Merlot.

At first, la Rame had mineral and underripe green scents that were quite strong and not that pleasant. Well, wine just needed 10 minutes or so to open up with the aromas of cranberry, strawberry, and nectarine skin.
On the palate, the flavors of red currant pointed towards Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Combined with apple, cranberry, and underripe strawberry, this wine comes across quite austere, yet its creamy texture softens the angular character of la Rame Rosé.

If we were to describe 2019 Chateau la Rame Rosé in one word, it would be masculine. In this regard, it needs a partner – a lamb chop, Pâté de Champagne, Branzino, or scallops. It also would pair well with salads and vegetarian dishes. Why not try it with the Thanksgiving dinner dishes?
