2019 Wooldridge Creek Sparkling Rosé

2019 Wooldridge Creek Sparkling Rosé

Sparkling wines are made in every corner of the globe and in many styles, thanks to modern winemaking know-how.

2019 Wooldridge Creek Sparkling Rosé

2019 Wooldridge Creek Sparkling Rosé is a lighthearted frizzante style bubbles from Oregon. It’s made like Prosecco following the method invented by Federico Martinotti. What makes Sparkling Rosé different is that, unlike Prosecco, it’s only lightly fizzy. While fizzy is a cool word, let’s call it frizzante! It sounds way more delicious that way!

In a Bottle

2019 Sparkling Rosé is produced by Wooldridge Creek winery that is among only a few sparkling wine producers in Applegate Valley of Southern Oregon. It’s made with Tempranillo, Syrah, and Malbec – a rare blend of Rosé bubbles.

In a Glass

Sparkling Rosé is filled with aromas of cranberry, red apple, wild strawberry, and lingonberry. It’s a brut, but thanks to its fruit-forward flavors of a baked apple, raspberry, and cranberry, the balance between sweetness and sourness very pleasant. It’s even reminded us of a cranberry sauce we recently made.

While we meditated over the glass to find all those aromas and flavors for you, it’s hardly sophisticated wine. And that’s great!

Finish and Pairing

2019 Woodridge Creek Sparkling Rosé is lighthearted quaffable bubbles and a fantastic pairing with mussels, burgers, hot dogs, hot summer afternoons, fun on the beach, and friends.
