L’Ecole Chenin Blanc 2019

L'Ecole Chenin Blanc 2019

2019 Chenin Blanc produced by L’Ecole No 41 winery, one of the oldest in Washington state. Interestingly, this wine is sourced from some of the oldest Chenin Blanc vineyards in Yakima Valley and the state, planted in the 1970s.

The herbaceous, lanolin and almond aroma were followed by a wine with a substantial Chardonnay-like body with lemony apple, white nectarine flavors, and a light creamy note.

We paired it with Milk Braised Pork Loin, and they complimented each other well. Pork softened the acidity, and wine cut through the richness and fattiness of the meal.
