According to Candy Store, the largest candy retailer in the United States, the top 10 most popular Halloween treats are Reese’s Cups, Skittles, M&M’s, Starburst, Hot Tamales, Sour Patch Kids, Hershey Kisses, Snickers, Tootsie Pops, Candy corn.

Pairing candy with wines is true Trick-or-Treat because sugar-rich foods are notoriously wine-unfriendly, and it’s easier to say what wines to avoid.
The wine lovers darlings like classic Bishop’s Ring Cabernet Sauvignon Napa or buttery Rombauer Carneros Chardonnay can be easily tricked by Halloween treats that will make Cabernet taste bitter and Chardonnay sour.
Still, not all lost, and a lot depends on your favorite candy. The list is dominated by nutty-chocolaty and fruity flavors. While still trick-or-treat pairing situation, there are some excellent options to explore there.
