Cocktail Siesta is all about a hot and lazy summer afternoon. We make it when we have at least one grapefruit in a fridge, and we don’t have to run anywhere after lunch. However, it is also a good before-dinner cocktail and a good alternative to Negroni for those who like fresh juice in a drink.
If you squeeze all the juice from grapefruit, you might want to make more than one cocktail. So, experiment with a sugar syrup amount and adjust it to your taste. The taste and sugar in the drink also depend on the sweetness of the grapefruit.
